Hey, just a quick reminder to get yer entries in for the first ever Green Noise Records Commercial Contest! Deadline is Feb 26th, but we might wind up extendin’ it a bit. Here’s the deets:

Hey amateur, (Or professional) film makers! Green Noise Records wants you
to design the first ever Green Noise Records commercial!

What’s in it for you? The winning commercial will be posted on the Green
Noise Records website, the Green Noise RecordsYoutube page, and the
entrant will receive $200.

Runners up will also be posted to the Green Noise Records Youtube page.
Entrants will have 6 weeks to come up with the idea, film it, and mail it
(or drop it off in person) to :

For those of you who aren’t familiar with us:

Green Noise Records house’s a great collection of Punk, Hardcore, Indie,
and Local music. New or used, CD or Vinyl, we got you covered. Our
knowledgeable and friendly staff is always available to help you find that
rare album, or to recommend something you may not have heard before. We
love what we do, and we do it well.

That said, here’s the “rules”

1. Entrants are allowed two (2) entries.

2. Commercials should be between 30 and 45 seconds long.

3. Commercials should contain the name and address of the store.

4. It is totally cool to reference the record label (Dirtnap Records), but
it is not required.

5. Don’t forget to include your name, address, and current contact number
with your submission.

6. Have fun! We have faith in you!

A winner will be chosen around february 26th, 2010.
